Reflection Prompt: How has your knowledge of technology standards changed after this module? Reflect on your own use of technology standards in your classroom and personal use.
Description:
My experiences in my first week have been for the most part really great. I had never been in an online course, I had only heard about or help make them. They're much tougher on the other end! My technology standards have always been very high but seeing these official standards allow me to focus on what I've been doing right and how I can possibly do them better. They kind of remind me of the Quality Matter rubric. Good teachers in essence do everything already at some level or are just missing small things. Without knowing the standards, you can't get better and fix the small stuff.
Impact: The impact of the knowledge I've gained in this module is significant. I've been exposed to nearly four new pieces of technology online. I considered my self tech savvy before this so that's really good! I had never used a Wikispace. It's not necessarily something completely new for me because I have my own website but it's still something culturally significant that's good to know about in the Instructional Design world. I also learned about Vokis. That experience was really fun making my Terminator guy talk!
Intent:
I want to continue to learn more about Instructional Technology and finish my page with artifacts in the coming week! I'm a quick
I made this guy below for my Instructional Design Course for Team Building. I wanted to put him on my Wiki somewhere so I think I'll put him here for now! :O)
